Wati

Connect Aissist to your Wati workspace.

Connect Aissist to Wati so it can manage WhatsApp conversations.

Before you begin, create a Wati gateway in Deploy → Gateways. Keep its setup page open.

Add your Wati credentials

1

Open the API documentation

Sign in to your Wati workspace.

Go to Connectors → API → API Docs.

2

Add the access token

Copy the Access Token.

Return to Aissist and paste it into the gateway's API Access Token field.

3

Add the API endpoints

Select Version 1 in the API version menu. Copy the API endpoint.

Paste it into the gateway's V1 API Endpoint field.

Then select Version 3, copy its API endpoint, and paste it into V3 API Endpoint.

Configure the webhook

1

Open webhook settings in Wati

Go to Connectors → Webhooks.

2

Add and enable the webhook

Select Add Webhook.

Copy the Webhook URL from your Aissist gateway. Paste it into Wati's webhook URL field.

The URL uses this format:

https://gateway.aissist.io/gateway/wati/endpoint?gatewayId={{gateway_id}}

Select the Message received (BSUID) event.

Set the webhook status to Enabled, then save it.

Finish the gateway setup

Return to Aissist and complete the remaining gateway settings. Save the gateway when every required field is valid.

Use Wati's authentication reference when you need to regenerate or validate an access token.
